Sakazuki of Kutaniyaki, Hachiro style.
Kutaniyaki porcelain dates back to 1655 in the Edo period and
there are roughly six different styles.
Hachiro, or otherwise referred to as Iidaya is one of the six styles of Kutaniyaki.
Its main characteristic is the extremely fine lines drawn in red.
Drawing such thin lines require extraordinary technique, which is why
Hachiro style is highly praised.
The poured drink highlights the gold paint, which brings glamour to
the new year party or other celebratory events.
It'll also make a gorgeous gift.
